We are pleased and excited to offer the BioMeridian Energy Balance Evaluation within our practice. We have our own MSAS™ bio-energetic testing system that will identify the agents that alter the energy balance within your body. This additional capability, when combined with the procedures and tests that we currently use, will enhance our ability to gain valuable information about your body's vital functions.
How does the test work?
The test, which is painless and non-invasive, involves measurements of energy stress points primarily on your hands and feet. During the test, the FDA-approved instrument is connected to a computer that contains data on thousands of materials that can cause stress in the form of increased sensitivities and balance a stressed or weakened meridian. It will usually take about 1 to 1 ½ hours to identify your most weakened or stressed areas and determine how to improve the energy flow in those areas. At the end of your appointment, you will see a bar graph to help you visualize what was just checked. It will show green for "Balance," red for "Stress-inflammation, acute," and yellow for "Weakened-degeneration, chronic."
How do I make an appointment?
To make an appointment, call the office at 303-721-1670. For your first Bio-Meridian, plan to spend 1 ½ hours with us. The length of the subsequent appointments will depend on how many energy-balancing agents need to be tested, and on your body’s responses.
How should I prepare?
Please come to the office in clothes that allow easy access to your right hand and right foot. Do not take supplements or unnecessary medications for 24 hours before the test. If you are unsure of the medications that are unnecessary, please feel free to call us. Don't apply any lotions of any kind to your hands or feet the morning of your appointment. Drink plenty of water before your appointment. Please see below for instructions on preparation for specific appointments.
Who will pay for this testing?
This test is not covered by insurance. The test can be paid for with cash, check, or credit card at the time of service. The patient will be charged $150 for the first inital visit and follow up apptointments are based on time and complexity.
For an initial appointment:
- Take no supplements for 24 hours prior to the appointment.
- Take all essential medication(s) prior to the appointment.
- Do not use any lotions on your hands or feet the morning of the appointment.
- Drink plenty of water before the appointment. Dehydration makes it difficult to obtain accurate readings.
For a follow-up Bio:
- Bring all supplements and prescription medications you are currently taking in their original bottles if possible.
- Take enzymes as recommended.
- Take all regular medication(s). Do not take acidophilus, or herbal, homeopathic or prescription anti-fungals for 24 hours before the appointment.
- Do not use any lotions on your hands and feet the morning of the appointment.
- Drink plenty of water. Dehydration makes it difficult to obtain accurate readings.
For an appointment involving allergy testing only:
- Take your regular supplements as scheduled.
- Take all regular medication(s) except anti-histamines or other allergy medications.
- Avoid all foods you think you may be sensitive to for 24 hours before the appointment.
- Do not use any lotions on your hands or feet the morning of the appointment.
- Drink plenty of water. Dehydration make it difficult to obtain accurate readings.
